I started to work on my new manga called Maid Catboy. it is a short yaoi story. it is still in working process. I have been working on one pages a week. so far i completed four pages. I felt I wanted to support their business. I mention in my latest article, there are not many manga book stores in the UK and manga in the UK is a very small market. I also wanted to start supporting independent book stores in the UK rather than huge companies.
At the moment they are not getting as many Interactions on social media, it would be great if you can follow them and check out their website.

I have been wanting to read this manga for a long time. It’s a slice of life, comedy. Former Yakuza, know as the ‘Immortal Dragon’ is now a house husband. He gets on with his duties of being a devoted husband, but he very much still has yakuza ways. This manga is so fun to read. There were lots of funny scenarios and scenes. The characters are great, the drawings are good too. I enjoyed it! I will be buying more volumes of The Way of the Househusband Volume in the future.
It is adapted into an anime and is going to be streaming on Netflix.

Latest BL Japanese Manga Haul | June 2021
Last month in June, I bought more BL manga from CD Japan. I have mentioned my latest BL haul in my podcast. I have changed my shopping habits to buying most of my manga directly from Japan. All my manga arrived in excellent condition. I feel I have more choices of manga to buy. In the UK market, manga are limited and there is not much range to buy. That is why I choose to buy manga from Japan because I can discover new gem manga that may not ever get an English publication. I absolutely love Sakishita Senmu works and has become my new favourite manga artist.

Yes, that right! I started on buying collecting Japanese manga straight from Japan. I bought my manga from a site called CD Japan. I discovered CD Japan on social media.
I have never ordered items from overseas. however, the customs law has changed in the UK (more information about custom tax and Duty please visit the Gov website https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty)
So I took the chance. being a first time customer on CD Japan. so far I am very impressed by the shipping, delivery and how well they package the books. My books arrived in perfect condition!
I bought 6 BL manga:
I am very happy I could buy Japanese manga. I always wanted to go to Japan and buy manga. now I feel confident just to order them online. The manga was very cheap ¥680 (£4.00 approx) so the total (include shipping cost) cost was reasonably priced.
I will be continuing to buy Japanese BL manga. They are great sources for learning Japanese and having fun. It will also motivate me to study Japanese more seriously. My goal is to able to read Japanese fluently. I can pick up new vocabulary while reading.
