I being practicing creating my own manga drawings on Clip Studio EX. For the Comic I created a book cover design using Canva.com I wanted it to reflect the story. in the future these manga might be publish but i need to be confident in creating my manga into professional works.
This comic is an erotic genre, so it not appropriate to share some of the drawings but I had a lot of fun. It was inspired by both ‘Dears’ and ‘Loveless’ combined which I love to read.
I watched animation CrunchyRoll site. I watched The Worlds Greatest First Love the same creator as Junjo Romantica, it is a Boy love anime based from a manga. i started to screenshot scene and put them together in a collage. i used canva, com and the pre set templates to place the images. The anime is a proper love story with lots of emotion and dept. (yep there is a lot of kissing) I really enjoy watching the anime.
Creating collages feel very therapeutic and relaxing. I like putting images i like together. i do collage a lot on my iPad with an app. sometimes it is nice to put images together to see how it will look collectively.
I have created a eight collages designs with different templates and panels. it looks like a mini manga comic.
I discovered that it be more easier to write down notes on my IPad. I have the IPad Air. It’s more convenient and practical to write down note I learnt in an app. I try to write down or use exercise books book but that did not helped me to retained any information. I have dyslexia and always relied on technology for assignment. I need the text to be clear and to have grammar and spelling correct.
If I have the IPad Pro I would of brought the Apple Pencil for writing.
Tinycards app for learning new vocabulary
I use app flash cards to learn new vocabulary daily for 5 mins during the day. These cards are easy to make on a app called Tinycards. I’ll learn a set topic for a week till I learnt the words and remember the vocabulary in Japanese. I can create my own cards that I want to remember the most.
Bear / Notebook app
I using apps on my iPad to keeping Japanese note I learn from YouTube lessons. I can write them in Japanese and record my speaking in Notebook app. It is really good for taking notes and keeping information organised. I can clearly read Japanese and edited the notes.
Notebook app is very good for recording myself speaking Japanese with written annotations.
Journal app DayOne
I use dayone app as a personal dairy but I also do write down a few Japanese sentences.
There are other app you can get, some you have to pay. The three app I used are free and the best pick from App Store.
I sometimes screenshot videos from YouTube for added information.
